John Cena's return to WWE looks to be over on an unfortunate end as the 16-time world champion was brutally squashed by Solo Sikoa in a 'must-win' match at Crown Jewel.
The Cenation Leader teased retirement a few weeks back as he revealed that he hadn't won a singles match on TV programming in over 2000 days. However, he was interrupted by Solo Sikoa, leading to a match at Crown Jewel. Cena highlighted the importance of the bout in the build-up as he noted that he may lose the fans if he once again fell short.
However, The Enforcer had different plans in mind as he absolutely destroyed John Cena. While the 16-time world champion tried to work Solo's right thumb early into the match, The Bloodline member was able to overcome that and, in the end, delivered multiple Samoan Spikes to win the bout.
The loss also means that John Cena is without a singles win on TV programming since his win over Triple H in April 2018.
The Greatest of All Time has transitioned into a part-timer over the last few years and is in the twilight phase of his career. Fans will be eager to see what John's next move will be and hoping it's not the end of his illustrious career.
