Current WWE champion issues a warning to John Cena
John Cena has won multiple titles in the Stamford-based promotion but never once got his hands on the Intercontinental Championship. The Leader of the Cenation gave new life to the United States Championship but didn't get to hold the workhorse title of the company.
In an interview on Ringside Fest 2024, Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker warned The Leader of Cenation ahead of his WWE return. The current WWE champion stated John Cena wouldn't be able to finish his retirement tour if he came after him and the title.
"If I were him [John Cena], I would choose anyone else. So that he can make it till the end of the year and not be beaten up. If he faces me, he's not going to make it through... I don't foresee anybody beating me for the Intercontinental Championship for a long time. So, if that's something a goal of his that he wants to accomplish before he's done, I'm really sorry, but he's probably going to retire without doing that," Breakker said.
It'll be interesting to see which titles Cena will go after when he returns for his final run.
