Former WWE Champion John Cena is set to embark on his Retirement Tour next year. Meanwhile, former WWE host Matt Camp recently claimed that The Franchise Player's potential match against a legendary wrestler would be massive under one condition.
The legend in question is none other than Randy Orton. The Viper and The Doctor of Thuganomics were members of the same class in OVW before debuting on the main roster in 2002. The two also had a heated rivalry in the late 2000s.
Speaking on The Wrestling Matt podcast, former WWE host Matt Camp discussed the possibility of seeing Cena and Orton cross paths again during the Hollywood star's Retirement Tour.
Camp, who feels the company did not get the most out of the Cena-Orton rivalry, claimed it would be massive if the world record of 16 World Championship victories is brought into the equation during their potential match next year. Notably, John Cena is a 16-time WWE World Champion, while Randy is a 14-time World Champion in the Stamford-based promotion.

Camp detailed a scenario in which The Viper aims for his 16th World Title during a match against The Cenation Leader, with the Hollywood star "protecting 16."
"If that number, that hallowed number of 16 that Ric Flair has, that John Cena has, that's to me, that's a massive match. If done correctly, and one of them is champion, or not one of them, if Randy is champion or there's a title on the line or something like that, and there's 16 hangs in the balance, John protecting 16 or Randy going for 16, man, I think there's a lot there. I think you're thinking about WrestleMania next year, and you're thinking about Rock/Cody, Rock/Roman, all that kinda stuff, Cena/Randy is, and maybe that's the last match; maybe there's that too," he said. Randy Orton could win his 15th World Championship at WWE Bash in Berlin
After Gunther defeated Damian Priest at SummerSlam and captured the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton confronted The Ring General on RAW and challenged the newly crowned champion to a match at Bash in Berlin.
The Viper brought up the controversial finish of their previous encounter in the final of the King of the Ring tournament earlier this year. The challenge was duly accepted by the Imperium leader.
The Apex Predator is a 14-time WWE World Champion, and a triumph in Berlin later this month would take him closer to 16-time champions, John Cena and Ric Flair.
Orton had a heated confrontation with The Ring General on this week's RAW. It ended with the latter receiving an RKO out of nowhere. It will be interesting to see if The Viper manages to claim the World Heavyweight Title at Bash in Berlin.
