John Cena's retirement tour is on the horizon and so is the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match. The WWE Universe has been anticipating a world championship victory for Cena during the last few months of his in-ring career. For an opportunity to bag another world title, Cena winning the Men's Royal Rumble match is a massive option to push the story.
However, Cena is not the only contender for sure. Among a plethora of options available, The Rock could also be the one to stand tall in the Men's Royal Rumble Match. While The Brahma Bull marked his return at Bad Blood, he hasn't followed up on his comeback with any update on his near future on SmackDown. However, he has had his eyes on Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship for quite some time now.
According to WrestleVotes on a live Q&A with Bill Apter on Backstage Pass, some massive names are being considered to be in the running to win the Men's Royal Rumble Match. Among them, John Cena and The Rock are surely two of the biggest possibilities. However, Roman Reigns is also reportedly in contention. In addition to these three, CM Punk and Seth Rollins are also two other names on the top of the list that could end up winning the match.
"Just in conversation I’ve heard names and they’re all names that you expect to be there. Roman Reigns, John Cena. You know if it’s for the world title, I’d look for CM Punk or Seth Rollins to be the winner. But even The Rock is a possibility. So, someone at the very top of the card is the one I’d imagine standing tall at the end," reported WrestleVotes.
