John Cena is all set for a blockbuster return to the WWE ring on 26th December at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. The live event where Cena will be making a comeback is part of the WWE’s Live Holiday Tour.
The official website of New York’s iconic venue, Madison Square Garden, has revealed some important details about the event which will feature a number of superstars from the Smackdown roster apart from the Cenation leader.
As per the update on TheGarden.com, John Cena is set to engage in battle with AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat match for the WWE World Championship in what is sure to be the main event. The match will not only give Cena an opportunity to become champion again but also to extract some payback on Styles.

Another huge match which has been lined up for the live event is a Fatal Four Way match involving Randy Orton, Kane, Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Also, Dolph Ziggler and the Miz are slated to face each other in a Steel Cage match for the Intercontinental Championship.
The Smackdown Tag Team Championship will be on the line, too, with The Usos, American Alpha, Breezango and the team of Rhyno and Heath Slater fighting it out in a Fatal Four Way match. Another great match will feature Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella, Naomi, Natalya, Alexa Bliss and Carmella in a Six Way match for the Smackdown Women’s title.
Among other matches is an eight-man tag team match which will see The Ascension and The Vaudevillians take on Apollo Crews, Jack Swagger and The Hype Bros and also a singles match involving Kalisto and Baron Corbin.
All in all, the WWE has an action-packed night in store at the New York City live event on 26th December and fans at the Madison Square Garden are sure to get their money’s worth.
