TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace has made several appearances on WWE NXT over the past few weeks, including a title match against NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez at Battleground. Grace recently confirmed that she's working on more projects for WWE.
In an interview with former WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley for TMZ Sports, Grace revealed that she's providing motion capture for 2K Sports. She will likely get credited by the video game company once the game, WWE 2K25, comes out later this year.
"I'm doing motion capture for one of the WWE video games so I got the full outfit on. I'm actually in one of their like interview booths right now so it's like a soundproof booth. ... We're actually doing the story for the video game so it's like a 'choose your own adventure' thing so we're having to go through the story aspect of it. It's actually a little bit more fun. It's kind of wacky," Grace said. [0:34 - 1:08]
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
Jordynne Grace won't be the first TNA Wrestling star to do motion capture work for WWE 2K video games. LA Knight, who was known as Eli Drake in TNA, has been doing the same thing for 2K Sports since 2015. He used to emulate superstars such as Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, R-Truth, and more.
However, it's unclear when he stopped working for 2K Sports when he got hired by WWE in 2021.
Jordynne Grace hoping for a WWE Superstar to answer her open challenge
Jordynne Grace is set to defend her TNA Knockouts World Championship in an Open Challenge at Against All Odds on Friday. Grace told TMZ Sports that she's hoping for an NXT star to answer the challenge and return the favor.
"I don't know who it's gonna be. It could be anybody from any company. I'm kind of hoping a little bit that someone from the NXT roster decides to step up. Fingers crossed, I would love someone from over there to come but honestly, anybody can come, from any company. I welcome them. TNA welcomes them," Grace said. [8:16 - 8:35 in the video above]
Grace has held the TNA Knockouts Championship since January 13 when she defeated Trinity at Hard to Kill.
