WWE SummerSlam seemingly marked the end of The Judgment Day, with two major betrayals on the show. Meanwhile, one-half of the World Tag Team Champion JD McDonagh has now made a statement in the wake of the implosion.
Last year, Finn Balor recruited JD McDonagh and eventually made him a member of The Judgment Day. The two stars share past history between them as Balor trained McDonagh in his early days. The two have been on the same page and JD McDonagh's statement following The Biggest Party of the Summer is proof of what's to come next in the story.
After both Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were betrayed on Saturday night, JD McDonagh made a shocking statement as he sided with Finn Balor and ripped The Judgment Day's merch, declaring his intentions.
"Never liked this shirt anyway," McDonagh wrote.

McDonagh was the last member to join the villainous faction. Carlito and R-Truth previously worked with the group but were never officially inducted into the group.
Rhea Ripley warned JD McDonagh ahead of WWE SummerSlam
The writing was on the wall for The Judgment Day's end as The Terror Twins (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley) were slowly getting isolated from the group in the past few months. However, the faction showed unity when Mami returned to WWE RAW after her injury.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as Liv Morgan had planted seeds for this eventual betrayal in her absence and members were slowly moving away from Damian Preist and Rhea Ripley. Leading up to The Biggest Party of the Summer, Mami laid down a few rules that didn't sit well with the rest.
Upon her return, she questioned Carlito's presence in the clubhouse. Later, she confronted Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for winning the WWE World Tag Team Championship with Liv Morgan's help. At the time, Balor defused the situation, pointing out that the gold remained with the group.
Later, Mami brutally threatened to end McDonagh when the star interrupted her. It was obvious that JD McDonagh wasn't in The Terror Twins' good books and the sides have now formed where McDonagh joins his former mentor. The duo could possibly even bring Dominik Mysterio, and Liv Morgan into the fold.
