Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported that Kenny Dykstra of the Spirit Squad lost his day job for missing work to wrestle for the WWE. He was fired from the non-profit charity he was a director at due to missing an excessive amount of days since he was booked for WWE appearances.
The report by Pro Wrestling Sheet stated that Dykstra was not on bad terms with the charity.

The report also stated that Kenny felt that missing work in an attempt to get re-signed with the WWE was worth the risk. However, it should be noted that both Kenny and Mikey have not been offered a full-time contract by WWE yet despite having featured regularly on Smackdown.
2/5ths of the Spirit Squad returned on October 4th. It may have been Dolph Ziggler’s last Smackdown Live appearance, should he have lost to The Miz in their Career vs. Title match at No Mercy.
You can watch the video of their return below:
Technically, 3/5ths of the Spirit Squad are featured in the WWE because Dolph Ziggler was a former member of the Spirit Squad as well, where he went by the name Nicky.
The other two members did not return for different reasons. Johnny (real name John Jeter) has a full-time job that he could not have left due to professional commitments, and Mitch (real name Nick Mitchell) has reportedly become very religious and has relocated to Israel.
It initially came as a surprise to many to see Kenny Dykstra back in WWE, particularly on the brand that John Cena was on.
Kenny had left the WWE on very bad terms when he outed John Cena many years ago for having an affair with his then-fianceé Mickie James. He was released from his contract subsequently and never had good things to say about John Cena since then.
However, in WWE, there is no such thing as a permanent black list. The doors do tend to open up with hatchets being buried at some point or the other, so it won’t be surprising to see Kenny (and even Mikey) back on a full-time basis. They could help add depth to the Smackdown Live tag team division too.
One of their first matches back saw them take on Dolph Ziggler in a 2-on-1 handicap match:
