Kevin Nash says he still feels the effects of the injury he suffered 30 years ago. This is due to a match he had with another massive star.
Kevin Nash was one of the biggest stars in the '90s. He was incredibly athletic in the ring, and this helped him get over with the fans. Throughout his WWE career, he was involved in many top feuds with some of the biggest names in the business.
Nash even competed in the King of the Ring Tournament 30 years ago. The tournament came down to Nash and Mabel in the final at SummerSlam 95. During the match, Nash suffered a lower back injury from taking one of Mabel's splashes.
Looking back on this match, Bryan Clark, who lost to Mabel in the tournament's semifinal, felt he could've had a great match with Big Daddy Cool without the lower back injuries. Nash agreed with him, saying he still feels the effects of his injury from that match.

"We would have had a great match at SummerSlam. I wake each morning to a reminder of the disc disrupter in Pittsburgh."

Kevin Nash on the possibility of Sting returning as AEW commissioner
Sting has one of the best runs of his professional wrestling career in AEW. After being unbeaten throughout his AEW run, Sting finally hung up his boots after his final match at Revolution 2024.
On a recent episode of his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash was asked if Sting could be brought back as commissioner of AEW. The wrestling legend stated that Sting wasn't going to do it.
"I think Nick [Aldis] does a really good job in WWE, because he's.. you gotta be in a suit. Steve [Borden] in his face paint, that's just, no... Steve's not gonna do that. Why would he, you can't be the commissioner and come out in shades... Put it this way, Steve isn't gonna do it."
It will be interesting to see if Sting returns to AEW in some capacity, even if it is not a wrestling role.
