The WWE Universe is remembering Scott Hall on his birth anniversary today. The wrestling legend is widely viewed as one of the best all-around pro wrestlers ever, despite his career being marred by controversies and the fact that he never held a world championship for any of the prominent wrestling promotions he worked with. Longtime friend and rival Kevin Nash (fka Deisel) took to social media today to pay tribute to the former Razor Ramon.

The Bad Guy tragically passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 63. Getting into the business at almost 26, the founding member of the nWo had successful runs in WWE, WCW/JCP, NJPW, NWA plus its various territories, AWA, and TNA, among many others.

The Outsiders kicked off what was arguably the biggest era in pro wrestling history with their legendary WCW Nitro arrival in 1996. The former Razor Ramon and Diesel worked together for decades and remained close until Hall's death. Nash took to Instagram today to pay tribute to his friend.

"Happy birthday, Scott. I thought we'd grow old together, guess it wasn't in the script. T yesterday and now you today. No wonder why I often feel lost. Love you my brother," Kevin Nash wrote with the photo below.

Hall and Nash first teamed up in 1991 as Diamond Studd and Oz on WCW Power Hour, then three years later as Razor Ramon and Diesel in WWE. Their last official match on record came at TNA Sacrifice in May 2010, where they retained the World Tag Team Championship over Ink Inc.

WWE remembers Scott Hall

Scott Hall as Razor Ramon became a household name in World Wrestling Entertainment. He was later inducted into the Hall of Fame twice.

The official WWE account on X (fka Twitter) shared a tribute to Hall on his birth anniversary today. They included a photo of Razor Ramon after defeating Shawn Michaels in the WrestleMania X Ladder Match for the Undisputed Intercontinental Championship along with a photograph of Scott Hall coming out for his 2014 Hall of Fame induction.

"HEY YO. ❤️ Remembering two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall on his birthday," wrote WWE.

You can check out the photos in their post below:

Hall was a four-time Intercontinental Champion, but that was the only gold he held for the Stamford-based promotion. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame as an individual in 2014 and as a member of the nWo in 2020.

Hall held tag team gold seven times in WCW while holding the United States Heavyweight Championship twice, and the World Television Championship once.
