Kevin Owens claimed that a major WWE Superstar was disgusting ahead of tonight's edition of RAW. The Prizefighter is scheduled for a marquee match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.

Owens took to his X (fka Twitter) account ahead of tonight's episode of RAW to take a shot at the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. A fan noted that since Rhodes visited Manchester City FC, the soccer team had gone winless in their past seven matches. Owens re-posted the message and suggested that The American Nightmare was disgusting.

The former Universal Champion also tagged Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, The Rock, Jimmy Fallon, Nick Khan, and Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon as seen in his tweet below.

"Disgusting," wrote Owens.

The 40-year-old brutally attacked Randy Orton last month and sent him out of the arena in an ambulance after planting The Viper with a Piledriver. Cody Rhodes is out for revenge and will be defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against The Prizefighter at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Former WWE writer comments on Kevin Owens vs. Cody Rhodes headlining Saturday Night's Main Event

Former head writer for the Stamford-based promotion Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event later this month.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown, available via Backstage Pass, Russo commented on the possibility of Rhodes and Owens headlining Saturday Night's Main Event next weekend. The veteran stated that he hoped the decision didn't backfire, and noted that the company previously used to feature talents who were larger than life.

"I'm just hoping this doesn't backfire because Saturday Night's Main Event used to be a big deal. And bro, let's face it... it was a big deal because back then SNL was red hot. If [viewers] tuned in, waiting to see SNL, they hung around to watch wrestling. We had stars on wrestling back then that [sic] were larger than life," he said. [24:44 onwards]

Cody Rhodes successfully defended the title against Kevin Owens earlier this year at Bash in Berlin. It will be fascinating to see if KO can capture the title at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14 at Long Island, New York.
