Kevin Owens fired back at Cody Rhodes on social media after the latter called him out on the latest episode of SmackDown. He pointed out the double standard in the Undisputed WWE Champion's comments during the opening segment of the show.
The Prizefighter is also involved in a feud with his other former friend, Randy Orton. He sent The Viper to the hospital last week after spiking him with a Piledriver. Cody Rhodes kicked off this week's episode of WWE SmackDown and called out Kevin Owens.
He even said the word "Please." However, SD General Manager Nick Aldis came out instead. Aldis said he was aware that the champion was angry, and that he too was angry with what KO did last week, as he went too far by using a banned move.
Nick Aldis also told The American Nightmare that Kevin Owens wasn't allowed there. Cody said Nick was making Owens 'A martyr,' and referenced KO's new Lamborghini. The Prizefighter took to X to respond to that specific comment.
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
He called out the double standard of Cody Rhodes bullying him for driving a Lambo when he drives a tour bus.
"Getting bullied for the car I drive by the guy who owns a tour bus," wrote Owens.
Kevin Owens and Cody will meet face-to-face next week on SmackDown. It'll be interesting to see what transpires during the segment.
