Kevin Owens has made a promise to Randy Orton while he's out of WWE, quietly suspended. This happened after his vicious backstage attacks on Cody Rhodes and Orton in successive weeks.
Kevin Owens was apparently quietly suspended by WWE. He was told to stay away from the company after his attack on Cody Rhodes. While that word was not used to discuss his status, he was told to not come to WWE shows, according to the star - something that made him furious at Triple H and other officials. Now, before he returns at Crown Jewel, the star sent Randy Orton a message.
Orton begged Triple H to let him face Owens, a match that The Game was unwilling to give him due to his past issues with injuries. However, the match was made and now Owens has sent a message to Randy Orton.
He said that he had been trying to call him all week and said that he didn't want to fight The Viper. He said that he didn't understand why he was making Kevin Owens do this. The star added that he never wanted to hurt him, but now he was going to at Crown Jewel.
"Randy, I've been trying to call you all week. You just won't answer, so I'm sending this video to WWE in hopes you'll actually see it. And listen, because it's important you hear me. I don't want to do this. I don't want to fight you. I've looked up to you for so long. I still do now actually. I just don't understand why you're making me do this. And I need you to remember something, I never really wanted to hurt you. Now, I'm going to. Crown Jewel, I'm going to hurt you like you hurt me. It's your fault. You did this. You did this to us. See you Saturday, buddy."
The match is all set for the event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this Saturday at Crown Jewel.
