Kevin Owens returns from suspension to confront Randy Orton ahead of WWE Crown Jewel clash

WWE Superstar Kevin Owens has confronted Randy Orton ahead of their highly anticipated clash at Crown Jewel. KO was suspended from television following his actions backstage.

During the WWE Crown Jewel Kick-Off, Kevin Owens confronted Randy Orton. The Prizefighter called The Viper a disgusting human being while referring to the voices in Orton's' head. Owens claimed he was disappointed by the veteran performer's actions.

"What's the problem? You just spent five minutes getting your a** kissed by everyone, and I can't come out here and talk, huh? You know, Randy [Orton], the only voices in your head, what they should be saying is that you're a disgusting human being. You should be ashamed of yourself. You think these people love you; I loved you. I would have never done what you did to me to you. I thought what we had was real, special, and on Saturday Night, I'm putting down RKO for good," he said.

WWE Hall of Famer predicts Kevin Owens' involvement in a championship match at Crown Jewel

Apart from Owens and Orton, another major SmackDown Superstar, Cody Rhodes, will wrestle at Crown Jewel. He will compete with Gunther in a Champion vs Champion match for the WWE Crown Jewel Title. Wrestling veteran Bully Ray made a bold claim about how the much-awaited match might end.

Speaking on a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray predicted the World Heavyweight Champion would defeat The American Nightmare and become the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion after interference from Kevin Owens. He added it would help the wrestling promotion to continue the two superstars' rivalry after the premium live event.

"I think at the Saudi show, neither one can get the win clean. My personal opinion is, the way out of it, little chicanery, maybe a ref bump or behind the ref's back, something, something. [...] [Kevin] Owens interferes. It's quick. Owens and Cody have the animosity. Gunther gets the win [and] raises the championship above his head. The next week, RAW or SmackDown, now we're off to the races with Kevin and Cody," he said. [From 19:26 to 19:55]
