Kevin Owens sent Cody Rhodes to the hospital at Saturday Night's Main Event. Tonight, he sent a threatening message.

Kevin Owens has been feuding with Cody Rhodes since WWE Bad Blood over the latter teaming up with Roman Reigns. Randy Orton also got involved but was sent to the hospital. Kevin finally got to fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Owens came close to winning the match, but the referee was knocked down. In the end, The American Nightmare ended up winning the match. Owens was upset with the outcome, and he assaulted Cody Rhodes after the match and hit him with a piledriver, which is a banned move due to its dangerous nature. The WWE Champion was taken to a local medical facility while Owens walked away with the winged eagle WWE Title belt.

Tonight on SmackDown, Owens cut a backstage promo where he blamed Cody, the referee, Nick Aldis, and even WWE management for what happened to the American Nightmare. He claimed that he was screwed out of the WWE Championship and that what happened to him was a tragedy. He said he won't give back the winged eagle title until he gets what he deserves. He also said that what happens next will be on everyone.

It will be interesting to see what Kevin Owens meant by his message tonight on SmackDown.
