Kevin Owens sent a two-word message to Kofi Kingston after he and Xavier Woods betrayed their now-former New Day stablemate, Big E. The New Day duo rejected the former WWE Champion's offer to become the group's manager.

Owens recently turned heel after betraying Cody Rhodes for teaming up with Roman Reigns at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event. The two superstars will cross paths at Saturday Night's Main Event with Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Kingston recently called out the WWE Universe on X (fka Twitter) after receiving a negative reaction from them on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. Reacting to the former WWE Champion's message, Owens sent out a two-word tweet.

"I'm listening," wrote Owens.

Kevin Owens thought he would never make it to the main roster

Kevin Owens started his WWE career in the company's developmental territory, NXT. Since moving up to the main roster, he has won multiple championships, including the Universal Title.

Speaking to Collider, Owens opened up about working on the main roster, including his WrestleMania main event against Stone Cold Steve Austin. He said:

“When I first signed with WWE, I was basically told I’d probably stay in NXT and never really see the light of day on RAW or SmackDown,” Owens said. “And then, about eight, nine months later, I was on RAW with John Cena. From that point on, I’ve had WrestleManias, I’ve had titles, and I’ve been in the ring with my favorite wrestler of all time, Steve Austin. I’ve been able to take care of my family in a way I never fathomed.”

Kevin Owens is a multi-time champion. He has held the WWE Intercontinental and United States Championships. Earlier this year, he unsuccessfully challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Bash In Berlin Premium Live Event.

Owens would aim to dethrone The American Nightmare at Saturday Night's Main Event.
