Kevin Owens failed to win the Undisputed WWE title from Cody Rhodes tonight at Saturday Night's Main Event. At one point, the official got knocked out. Owens hit a Stunner on Rhodes and covered him, but there was no referee in sight to make the three count.
Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter has now commented on Owens almost winning the match and the title. He called it "THE LONG ISLAND SCR*WJOB!" and added that the incident has made the feud hotter.

Apter also stated that Owens didn't put up a fight tonight against The American Nightmare. Owens did get fired up following the loss and beat Cody up, before getting into a heated altercation with WWE CCO Triple H on the entranceway.
Judging by what happened at Saturday Night's Main Event, it seems like this feud is far from over, and Rhodes will now try to get back at Owens for what he did post-match. The next few weeks on WWE SmackDown are going to be must-see television.
