WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston is currently in a big peril. The New Day member has been trying to pull himself and his team back on top. However, he hasn’t been very successful in this endeavor. Recently, the former WWE Champion had an angry response to a rival faction trying to provoke him after ambushing his teammate last week.

The Final Testament has been trying to break up The New Day. Headed by Karrion Kross, the faction is trying to mess with Kofi Kingston both physically and emotionally. Last week, the Ghanaian-origin fighter lost a match to Kross when he got distracted by Paul Ellering and his crew attacking Xavier Woods backstage.

Now, Ellering has tried to invite Kofi Kingston over to The Final Testament via a tweet on X/Twitter, which has clearly infuriated the latter even more.

Below is a screengrab of their tweets which you can check here.

Kingston shares a very deep bond with his New Day teammates with whom he had created a tag team championship record. They were also by his side when he won the WWE Championship. However, the lighthearted faction seems to be surrounded by dark clouds now.

It seems The Final Testament utilized the same tactic as the Wyatt Sicks to corner Xavier Woods.

The Final Testament takes inspiration from Uncle Howdy to attack Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods

The Wyatt Sicks have unleashed absolute terror in WWE with just two appearances on Monday Night RAW. Led by Uncle Howdy, the faction had neutralized several guards on their debut, alongside a bloodied Chad Gable. This deeply scared Xavier Woods, who thought the Olympian was murdered. In fact, he even posted a video on X saying he won’t report to work.

Thus, it was clear that Woods didn’t want to be caught in a surprise attack. While he later agreed to come after it was revealed that Chad Gable was safe, it didn’t mean Woods was safe as well. Making best use of his fear, The Final Testament attacked him backstage and also played a twisted game with Kofi Kingston.

Previously, Kingston was seen standing by his teammate Woods against Gunther during the King of the Ring tournament as well. It would be interesting to see how he maintains his composure while trying to keep his crew safe.
