Kofi Kingston's mother walked out on him during the latest edition of WWE RAW. As a result, he sent an emotional message to his family on Christmas taking a shot at his mother.
The New Day has been going through turmoil for the past few months and they teased splitting up during their 10th anniversary celebration. However, Big E made his surprise return and volunteered to manage Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Instead of welcoming him back with open arms, Kofi and Woods questioned his whereabouts for the past few months and kicked him out of the group.
Given that Big E is one of the most beloved WWE Superstars, their actions didn't sit well with the fans and other talent backstage. The duo were also kicked out of the locker room due to their actions. This week on RAW, Kingston's mother was in attendance. He apologized to her for the negative backlash he'd just received from the audience. But when he reached out to her for a hug, she refused and walked away.
Now, Kofi has taken to his X (fka Twitter) account to break character and send an emotional message to his family. However, he also took a shot at his mother by crossing her out of his family's Christmas photograph.

Kofi Kingston even lashed out at WWE over his mother
The segment from RAW this week was a shocking moment for Kofi Kingston and the fans as no one was expecting the star's mother to walk out on him. WWE is known for posting snippets from the weekly shows on its various social media handles. As a result, they posted a clip of the segment on Instagram and listed the former as a collaborator or co-author.
However, the former tag team champion was not amused and he lashed out at the company for listing him as a collaborator in the comments section.
"Why tf would you ask me to be collaborator on this??? Take this DOWN!" Kingston commented on the post.

It will be interesting to see if The New Day will reconsider its recent actions against Big E or continue to be defiant and without remorse on the red brand.
