Kofi Kingston has become a hot topic in WWE lately, owing to his heel turn. Wrestling veteran and legendary journalist Bill Apter recently talked about Kingston's recent segments, proposing a spot that included Rey Mysterio.
Kofi Kingston has been solidifying his heel role quickly alongside Xavier Woods, which started after the two kicked Big E out of The New Day. Following this incident, Kofi and Xavier had been denied access to the locker room by its leader Rey Mysterio, who claimed that their turning on Big E was too much to ignore.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter suggested a segment where Kofi's mother would praise Rey Mysterio instead of Kofi and how it would elevate the storyline.

Of course Rey Mysterio comes down again and he opens his dressing door and there is Kofi's mother, saying Rey you are the greatest wrestler I have ever seen. Greatest World Champion," Apter said. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have apparently managed to turn the entire locker room against them in a short time.
In a backstage segment, the duo were seen trying to enter the locker room but being blocked by Rey Mysterio. The veteran and WWE Hall of Famer had stated that Xavier and Kofi not entering would be the best option for them currently:
"I don't know what to tell you. You crossed a line with E. I think it's best for your own good if you find somewhere else to change," Mysterio said.
It remains to be seen how the storyline of The New Day pans out in the coming weeks in WWE, with them on the receiving end of nuclear heat from everywhere.
