Kofi Kingston recently took a dig at Karrion Kross, who brought up the former's infamous WWE Championship loss to Brock Lesnar. In October 2019, The Beast Incarnate defeated Kingston to win the top prize within seconds. Kingston had previously won the championship by dethroning Daniel Bryan, now known as Bryan Danielson, at WrestleMania 35.
Taking to X/Twitter, Kingston clarified Kross' comments from RAW, claiming that he was defeated within eight seconds by Lesnar and not six.
"8 seconds, @realKILLERkross, not 6. 8 seconds…which is about 8 seconds longer than you’ve held a title on the main roster," Kofi Kingston shared.

Kross has been feuding with The New Day for weeks. This week on RAW, he once again offered Xavier Woods a spot in The Final Testament before defeating the latter in a singles match.
WWE veteran Road Dogg discussed Brock Lesnar's quick-fashion victory over Kofi Kingston
WWE veteran and former D-Generation X member, Road Dogg, also known as Brian James, previously discussed Brock Lesnar's quick-fashion win over Kofi Kingston.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws podcast in 2022, Road Dogg explained that Lesnar was a household name which could have been the reason behind his squash victory over Kingston.
"I think it probably was FOX, Brock Lesnar, cross appeal. He’s a [big] name and Vince (McMahon) loves him, and Vince is drawing with him, and so tried and true, ‘Hey, let’s shock the world, send him out there, and kill him in a minute. Blah, blah, blah.’ I can hear him saying it now. It is what it is. Maybe Big E would have given a better battle," Road Dogg said.
Lesnar has been absent from WWE programming for several months. His last appearance in the Stamford-based company was at SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody Rhodes in the final match of their trilogy.
Meanwhile, Kingston is currently sidelined with an injury that he suffered during WWE's recent tour of Japan. Michael Cole revealed the news on the latest episode of RAW.
