LA Knight disrespected by former WWE champion after costing him major match on WWE SmackDown

LA Knight cost a WWE star a major match on WWE SmackDown. As a result, the star felt he was disrespected and walked out. This was Andrade.

Andrade has been in a rivalry with Carmelo Hayes over the past few weeks. The two men have faced each other five times before tonight and put on a stellar match each time. This series remained at 3-2, with Andrade taking the lead a couple of weeks ago.

Last week on SmackDown, Andrade faced LA Knight for the United States Championship but came up short. Following the match, he extended his hand for a handshake but Knight was hesitant. Later on, Carmelo Hayes confronted Andrade about the loss, which resulted in a backstage brawl between both men.

Tonight, both men were set to face off in a match. Before the match, Andrade confronted Knight and told him he lost respect for the United States Champion. This segment was cut short by Hayes who blindsided Knight.

Both Andrade and Hayes put on an exciting performance yet again in an evenly paced match. During the closing stages of the match, Knight came out to attack Hayes but he ran into the ring. Andrade tried to stop Knight from interfering but Hayes rolled him up for the win. Following the match, Andrade was visibly upset and confronted Knight who offered a handshake but the former walked away.

It will be interesting to see how LA Knight will factor into this rivalry between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes.
