LA Knight was a massive fan-favorite at Crown Jewel Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he defended the United States Championship for the first time on a WWE premium live event since capturing the belt at SummerSlam in August. The challenge was strong in the form of Andrade and Carmelo Hayes.

Andrade and Hayes have been at it for months, having wrestled seven singles matches. The two men started the contest at Crown Jewel by picking up right where they left off on SmackDown. Knight simply let them, staying out of the fight until El Idolo brought him into the fight.
The action was brisk, fast-paced, and featured several standout moments. It was a showcase for both Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. In the end, though, The Megastar of WWE made sure his title reign was intact.

This may have certainly been a big moment for The Megastar, where the spotlight was on him in the penultimate match of Crown Jewel. The crowd in Riyadh showered the United States Champion with loud chants, who has come a long way from failing to dethrone Roman Reigns at last year's edition of the event.

Joel’s pro-wrestling knowledge comes from hours of watching it from a young age. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels, but if he could go back in time to The Attitude Era, he would like to manage Chris Jericho and advise him to cut his hair and portray a character similar to Javier Bardem in the movie “No Country for Old Men,” something which Jericho later pulled off in 2008.
Besides Michaels, Joel is also a fan of Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton, Edge, CM Punk, and Brock Lesnar. His current favorites are Roman Reigns, Gunther, and Drew McIntyre.
