Roman Reigns and LA Knight feuded over the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in late 2023. They locked horns at Crown Jewel when The Megastar's momentum was halted thanks to The Tribal Chief's pedestrian booking at the time, who picked up the win over a red-hot Knight.

Cut to 2025, and it appears LA Knight has moved past it. Presently, he is feuding with Roman's cousin Solo Sikoa and The New Bloodline, a group Reigns has major unresolved issues with.

In an interview with the YouTube channel WittyWhitter, The Megastar was asked about working with a faction, something many major players in the game have been doing for years. On the spot, he admitted that a trio featuring himself, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes would be an interesting route to take, even if it is for a short period:

"If you were going to do like a big three, Miami Heat LeBron super team, or something like that, you know, probably, I don't know, me and Cody and Roman or something. We'll do something like that," LA Knight said. [From 12:24 to 12:38]

Although Knight and Rhodes are signed to the SmackDown brand, the two have not met in the ring for a title contest. Perhaps in 2025, that could happen.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes wants to work with LA Knight

After dethroning Roman Reigns at WrestleMania last year and subsequently defending the belt in a winning effort against AJ Styles at Backlash: France, Cody Rhodes expressed a desire to wrestle LA Knight.

The Megastar has been a popular figure through the lens of the WWE Universe ever since his program with Bray Wyatt. The American Nightmare knows that there is the obvious question of how to pit two babyfaces against one another. During the Backlash post-show press conference last year, Rhodes pointed to where the intrigue lies for a potential program between the two:

"LA Knight is somebody that I look at because—I get it, people say you can’t do that. They are two good guys. Well, I understand that, but there’s a flavor there. There's something about it," Cody Rhodes noted. [From 21:15 to 21:27]

Since Backlash: France, The American Nightmare and The Megastar have gone their separate ways, finding success in their own right. It remains to be seen if their paths will ultimately cross.
