On the latest edition of WWE SmackDown, Nick Aldis announced LA Knight's next defense of the United States Championship. Knight then took to Instagram to send a message to Aldis.

Knight was the special guest referee for Carmelo Hayes and Andrade's seventh match. However, The Megastar decided to take matters into his own hands after being hit inadvertently, leading to a controversial finish between Hayes and Andrade.

After the match, Aldis announced a Triple Threat Match between Knight, Andrade, and Hayes for the upcoming Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. Responding to Aldis' Instagram post, Knight claimed that the SmackDown General Manager's decision might have a bad effect on a few people, who were not named LA Knight.

"And this might be the cause of a bad effect for a few people NOT named LA Knight. I get it… strictly business," wrote Knight.

LA Knight commented on Nick Aldis' decision from WWE SmackDown

LA Knight wasn't pleased with Nick Aldis' decision on WWE SmackDown. He boldly stated that he would make Aldis regret his decision to put Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in a Triple Threat Match against him.

Speaking on SmackDown LowDown, Knight stated that Andrade and Hayes pushed his buttons and he retaliated.

"As a matter of fact, I made those kids out there, Andrade and Melo. Hold on one second because I forgot. Let me talk to you. Here's the deal. I made both of those kids out there regret the fact that they put their hands on me. I'm gonna make Nick Aldis regret that he made this match at Crown Jewel. What happened out there was those two wanted to push my buttons. Nah, nah, you got your buttons kicked in, and that's exactly what's gonna happen at Crown Jewel."

Hayes and Andrade have crossed paths on seven separate occasions with both superstars winning three matches apiece. Meanwhile, The Megastar will defend the United States Championship on a PLE for the first time since defeating Logan Paul at SummerSlam.
