While Wyatt Sicks' debut on WWE RAW captured many fans' attention, a veteran thinks the booking has made the group seem unrelated to pro wrestling. Furthermore, he also called for the entire story to be scrapped.
On the latest RAW episode, Uncle Howdy appeared alongside four other stars, marking the official debut of the Wyatt Sicks faction. The entrance was certainly eye-catching, with several WWE Superstars lying lifeless after the group assaulted them. However, veteran journalist Bill Apter was not pleased with the segment.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, Bill Apter explained the reasons for his comments.
"I felt that if this was a tribute to Bray Wyatt with his brother coming out with the lantern and all that, that was nice. But it became more than his tribute. So I am going TO echo the words of Hector Guerrero, where I am gonna say, 'Leave it alone.' We don't need the sequel. The sequels are usually never as good as the original, and I wanna remember the whole Bray Wyatt shtick the way it was. Not the new chapter without him," Apter noted. [5:35 onwards]
