Tonight is a big night for NXT as it debuts on the CW Network. As a result, a former WWE champion made his return to the show after a long time.

The Miz has had a legendary career in the WWE. He accomplished a lot during his career and is also a Grand Slam Champion. The A-Lister also played a key role during the early days of NXT.

Back when NXT was a reality show, The Miz acted as the pro for Daniel Bryan who was a rookie on the show then. Since then, the show has come a long way and is now a breeding ground for young talents and future stars for the Stamford-based promotion.

Tonight, the show was set to make its grand debut on the CW Network. As a result, a big show was planned for the night featuring an appearance from CM Punk. Even The Miz returned to the show after 10 years to host an episode of Miz TV with guests Oba Femi and Tony D'Angelo. The last time The A-Lister appeared on the show was back in 2014 when he competed against CJ Parker.

It will be interesting to see if more main roster stars will make an appearance on this show in the upcoming weeks.
