Teddy Long is completely against the idea of WWE breaking up a top tag team that has taken the company by storm this year. With two championship reigns and an uncertain future, the Hall of Famer said he wants the team to have a good run.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis asked Teddy Long and wrestling veteran Bill Apter about the Women's WarGames match. Long also gave his opinion that the women in WWE can do better in their promos - ensuring to praise them and making it clear that it wasn't a criticism but an honest observation.
The topic moved to Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair and a possible break-up. Teddy Long said that it's far too early to break the duo up and said they should have a longer run together:
"Let me say this. Golly, they look to get together, Bianca and Jade. Why would you break this up right now? You could get a good run out of them. Like I said, I don't understand that part of it and we don't know until it actually happens. I look at it as a tease but I just wouldn't break them up right away. They look so good together, let them have a good run." (3:45-4:20)

This video was recorded before the 22nd November episode of SmackDown, during which Jade Cargill was taken out by a mysterious attacker backstage. WWE issued a statement revealing that Cargill suffered multiple "injuries," with many taking it as confirmation of her missing Survivor Series: WarGames.

Teddy Long gave his thoughts on WWE's ID program
The WWE ID program has gained a lot of buzz on social media since it was announced recently. There seems to be a generally positive sentiment about the indie wrestling development program that will see the sports entertainment juggernaut recruit talent from multiple wrestling schools - including the ones owned by Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Booker T.
On a previous episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long told host Mac Davis that he was fully behind the ID program that WWE introduced, saying:
Yeah, exactly, I think it is. Like you already named those four schools, you know. Those schools are already been up and running. And I think that they produce a lot of great talent... The Monster factory, Cody Rhodes and those guys produce a lot of guys that they want at AEW. Seth Rollins has had some nice, great guys coming out of there so. These are the four schools that they will model from." [From 03:10 onwards]
Bill Apter, on the other hand, had a less positive response to it, stating that those outside of the "approved" training schools could get negatively affected.
