Lilian Garcia breaks silence after making her return as full-time ring announcer on RAW

Samantha Irvin shockingly announced her departure from WWE this Monday, and Lilian Garcia replaced her as the ring announcer of Monday Night RAW. On the October 21 episode of the red brand, Garcia made her return to the Stamford-based promotion after being away from the company for almost eight years as a full-timer.

Fans are thrilled to see Garcia back as she was part of the WWE family for a long time and has two decades of experience. She was with the Stamford-based promotion as a full-timer from 1999 to 2009 and then between 2011 and 2016. Although Garcia made some botches on RAW, she is proud to be back home.

After the show, Lilian Garcia posted a video on her official Instagram where she expressed how grateful she was to be back in WWE. She thanked fans for their warm welcome and seemingly explained her botches.

"Well, now you know. Oh my gosh, guys, did that just happen? Did I just really go back to the WWE after being gone for like eight years? I mean, I’ve popped in every now and then, but it’s been eight years since I was a full-time announcer there. “Because I was nervous, I could even tell I was nervous when I was announcing. But it is all worth it, all worth taking a risk and a gamble and just coming back.
