WWE Superstar Liv Morgan recently broke her on-screen character to talk about the help she received from a legendary former champion after last week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The name in question is former Women's Champion Bayley.
Following last week's episode of the blue brand, Liv Morgan locked horns with Lyra Valkyria for the Women's World Championship in a Dark Match. After successfully defending her title against Valkyria, Morgan is now set to face her biggest challenge, Rhea Ripley, at the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event.
Ahead of this highly anticipated clash, Liv Morgan gave an interview to Peter Rosenberg on his Cheap Heat podcast, in which the host asked Morgan who she looked for in the locker room if she needed some advice.
The Women's World Champion revealed that after her match with Lyra Valkyria, she got some advice from Bayley. Liv also stated that during her time in the WWE Performance Center, she was inspired by The Role Model and The Four Horsewomen.

"I don't why this stands out to me [maybe] just cause I just [did] it; I wrestled Lyra [Valkyria] after the SmackDown event on Friday and Bayley was there. So, you know, whenever Bayley is around and she's watching, I always ask her, like, 'What do you think?' Bayley was, you know, she was just entering her Four Horsewomen era when I came to the Performance Center. So, coming into the business and seeing her and all those other women, it was something that I strive for, and so Bayley in my eyes is always someone that I know what she's talking about," she said. WWE Superstar Liv Morgan says she still admires Bayley
In the same interview, Liv Morgan added that even after she has achieved so much in WWE, she looked at Bayley as a senior to her and believed The Role Model still had the 'It factor.'
"I think [I still look at Bayley as a senior to me] to a degree for sure. You know, time flies by so fast, and I feel like we don't realize it enough in the moment and positions change, standings change, but time flies so fast that I still look at Bayley as 'She's the sh*t,'" she added. It will be interesting to see if Liv Morgan will retain the WWE Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley at the Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event.
