Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are currently being compared to two WWE Hall of Famers. The Women's World Champion recently addressed these comparisons made about the duo with Shawn Micheals and Diesel.
Morgan defended her Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley at Bad Blood last October. However, the 30-year-old champion lost the match via disqualification following interference from a returning Raquel Rodriguez. Since then, the latter joined The Judgment Day and served as Morgan's bodyguard. Rodriguez's relationship with the Women's World Champion has drawn comparisons from many in the WWE Universe to the one between The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels and Diesel, aka Kevin Nash.
In a recent interview with Marca, Mogan addressed these comparisons. She disclosed that she considers these comparisons a compliment. However, she claimed neither of the WWE Hall of Famers were Raquel Rodriguez or herself:
"I think it's a compliment, thank you very much! Yes, Raquel and I talk about it. We see some comparisons, some are intentional and others are purely coincidental. But we enjoy it. And even though those comparisons are with iconic, powerful, and amazing figures, neither of them are Raquel Rodríguez or Liv Morgan," she said. [H/T - Marca]
Raquel Rodriguez won't go after her WWE partner's title
In a recent interview with WrestleRant Radio, Raquel Rodriguez discussed whether she planned to challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship. The former Women's Tag Team Champion revealed that going after her partner's title was not on her agenda. Instead, she would help her keep it as long as she could.
However, Rodriguez disclosed that she could pursue the newly introduced Women's Intercontinental Championship:
"Hey, there's the IC Title, you know, I can go after that so that Judgment Day is carrying all the gold. We'll see," she said.
Morgan is set to defend her title against Rhea Ripley this Monday on RAW's debut on Netflix. It would be interesting to see if Rodriguez would play a role in the anticipated clash.
