Liv Morgan made a bold claim about her relationship with Dominik Mysterio following her confrontation with Rhea Ripley last night on WWE RAW. Dirty Dom used to be in a storyline relationship with Ripley but betrayed her at SummerSlam to align with Morgan.
The 30-year-old defeated IYO SKY at Saturday Night's Main Event to retain her Women's World Championship. Rhea Ripley interrupted The Judgment Day's promo last night on the red brand and announced that she was the number one contender for Morgan's title.
The Eradicator also gave Dominik Mysterio a hilarious new nickname due to his obsession with chicken tenders, suggesting that she could still have feelings for her former love interest. However, Morgan took to Instagram today to reiterate her love for the former North American Champion and claimed that they were the most iconic couple in WWE history.
"The hottest, most iconic, most dominant couple in the history of WWE 🖤 My Daddy Dom 😘 @dominik_35," she wrote.
Rhea Ripley had a dominant 380-day reign as Women's World Champion before having to relinquish the title due to injury earlier this year. Morgan captured the title by defeating Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring in May.
Vince Russo reacts to Liv Morgan's promo on WWE RAW
Former WWE writer Vince Russo shared his thoughts on Liv Morgan's promo last night on the red brand and suggested that the company missed an opportunity for Dominik Mysterio.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo noted that Liv Morgan used a megaphone during her promo last night. The veteran stated that Dominik Mysterio should be the one using the megaphone as the crowd boos him whenever he attempts to speak.
"So every time Dom tries to speak, they boo him out of the building and it was clear tonight. So they go out tonight with a megaphone. Shouldn’t Dom be the one using the megaphone? They go out with the megaphone and Liv is using the Megaphone?"
