Liv Morgan has held on to her WWE Women's World title for almost 200 days at this point despite her feud with Rhea Ripley. According to a veteran, her next opponent is also probably not going to be successful in dethroning her.

Liv and IYO SKY are set to have a match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, with the former's title on the line. While IYO certainly has what it takes to defeat Liv, Vince Russo thinks Liv's current status needs to be protected. According to him, this would lead to a much more interesting storyline in the coming weeks.

On Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, the former WWE Head Writer stated:

"It's gonna be filler. Listen, man, you know they thrive on this. These are both gonna be great matches. They love love love love great matches. In your right mind, would you beat Liv at this point? No." [0:30 onwards]

The WWE veteran wants Liv Morgan to hold her title till WrestleMania 41

While Vince Russo is generally quite critical when it comes to analyzing WWE characters, even he has admitted that Liv Morgan has done a good job with her role.

Speaking on an episode of Legion or RAW, he had stated:

"She's done a good job with what they've given her. I will give her that. She was in an absolute nowhere role, and she's done a good job with what they've given her. Like if it was me, I wouldn't take the title off her right now," he said.

Furthermore, Russo believes Liv Morgan could hold her title until WrestleMania.

"WrestleMania, maybe... I think she's doing a good job. I mean, she's got heat. She's one of the few people on the show that's got heat." [From 4:32 onwards]
