Logan Paul "could be the face of WWE," says top WWE star; admits fans "might not like" his comment

WWE Superstar Logan Paul received massive praise from a former world champion. As per The Miz, the social media star could be the face of WWE.

Paul has been with WWE for quite some time now, though he doesn't appear on TV on a regular basis. He has impressed many among the WWE Universe with his in-ring work over the years and has battled top names like Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, and Seth Rollins.

In a chat with NBA Today, former WWE Champion The Miz had big praise for Logan Paul. Here's what he said:

"I look at [Victor] as the new face of the NBA. When I think of the WWE, and I think of a person who is an up-and-coming superstar who could be the face of WWE, I'm thinking of Logan Paul. People might not like this, but I brought in Paul and he has brought so much attention to WWE and himself, and has done an exceptional job inside the ring, so Logan Paul," he said. [H/T Fightful]

Logan Paul wants to become the WWE Tag Team Champion with a top name

Paul has made many friends over in WWE, one of them being Dominik Mysterio. Two years ago, Paul spoke about wanting to win the WWE Tag Team titles with Dirty Dom. Here's what he said:

"I'm trying do some Mick Foley-type, off the top of the cage onto the table from 30-feet high, Jeff Hardy-type sh*t, Swanton Bomb. That's what I want to do. I want to do it with the endeavor and pursuit of getting more belts. Do I become tag team champion with Dominik Mysterio? Could be fun. The Miz is receiving massive backlash from fans on social media for his comments about Paul. Despite his incredible wrestling skills, many fans still dislike Paul and aren't happy with him being called a potential face of WWE.
