WWE star Logan Paul shared a heartbreaking message after his major loss this past Saturday night at SummerSlam. The Maverick defended the United States Championship against LA Knight at the Premium Live Event.
Machine Gun Kelly accompanied Paul to the ring and gave him brass knuckles toward the end of the match. Paul bashed Knight over the head with the brass knuckles and set up for a Buckshot Lariat. However, Knight was ready for it and planted Paul with the Blunt Force Trauma (BFT) to win the United States Championship.
After losing the championship, Paul took to Instagram today to reflect on his title reign in a new video. He noted that it was a good run and referred to himself as the greatest United States Champion of all time, as seen in his post below.
"It was a good run," he wrote.

Wrestling legend praises Logan Paul following WWE SummerSlam
Wrestling veteran Kenny Bolin praised Logan Paul as a performer following his match against LA Knight at WWE SummerSlam.
In a conversation with Sportskeeda Wrestling following SummerSlam, Bolin admitted that he was surprised to see the United States Championship change hands. He also noted that he was not a fan of Paul but praised his work in the ring.
"That was one of the finishes that surprised me. I didn't see it happening yet because Logan Paul seems to work whenever the f*ck he wants. They love that he's a YouTube sensation. I don't like anything about Logan Paul, but I'll tell you what I like. The motherf*cker is good. He is good. Personally, I don't like him. Politically, we don't line up within an inch of each other. I don't like him. I don't like how he got his YouTube fame. There's a sh*t load I don't like about him. But it makes me mad he's so f*cking good. Because he is good at what he does." Paul challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at King and Queen of the Ring earlier this year but came up short. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the 29-year-old now that he is no longer champion.
