The Maverick put his title on the line in a Triple Threat match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. Paul was able to retain the title after pinning Kevin Owens for the win. The SmackDown star shared a video on his YouTube channel today and revealed he almost made a critical mistake at The Show of Shows.

Paul said that upon realizing his hands were empty during his entrance, he momentarily thought he'd forgotten to bring his United States Championship to the ring. However, he soon realized that he simply had the title belt around his waist.

"I was going down that ramp and I hear the lady go 'Your United States Champion'. My hands are empty, I go 'Bro, I forgot my f***ing belt. I forgot to bring my belt out. So I was kind of just walking, and then all of a sudden I touched my waist and it was there," he said. [From 03:53 - 04:06]

Triple H comments on Logan Paul's performance at WWE WrestleMania XL

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H had nothing but kind words to say about Logan Paul after he retained the United States Championship at the company's biggest show of the year.

Speaking at the press conference following WrestleMania XL, The King of Kings praised the United States Champion. He congratulated him on another "epic outing" at the premium live event and noted that the 29-year-old was very good in the ring, given his limited experience.

"I congratulate Logan Paul on another epic outing. You get in the ring with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, you put in that kind of performance. Whether you walk out as champion or you don't walk out as champion, what a performance! Just a guy that every single time he goes out there, proves why his choice to be here in WWE and not be doing the other things that he was doing before, have sort of cemented him as a WWE Superstar. He's so good. It's hard for me sometimes to sort of think about actually how good he is given the fact that he's only done it a handful of times. It's crazy," said Triple H. [From 52:56 - 53:42]
