Triple H has changed a lot of things around in WWE during his time as the Chief Content Officer. This also includes name changes, as multiple stars have gone back to their old names while a few have been given new ones. Another name change seems to be on the horizon and fans are overly excited for the same.

Butch, who was formerly known as Pete Dunne, adopted the new name upon his move to the main roster in 2022. The star joined Sheamus and Ridge Holland in the Brawling Brutes. However, the faction is no longer together as the Celtic Warrior is out of action while Holland walked out on Butch during a tag team match against Pretty Deadly.

Kit Wilson and Elton Prince continued to target the English star which led to Tyler Bate making his main roster debut. The inaugural NXT UK Champion joined his former stablemate to defeat the heel duo on his SmackDown debut last week.

Bate and Butch also featured in a segment this week which ended with the duo teasing a name change for the latter. Fans have been wanting to see Pete Dunne make his return for a while now, and the tease caused a major buzz among them.

Embedded below are a few of the many reactions:

Dutch Mantell commented on the segment between Tyler Bate and Butch on WWE SmackDown

Butch has been a part of WWE SmackDown for nearly two years. The star hasn't done anything notable in this time and barely features on TV programming.

Things, however, seem to be changing for the English star over the last few weeks, with Tyler Bate joining him on the WWE main roster. The duo had an interesting segment on SmackDown last night which also caught the attention of wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell.

The former WWE manager mentioned that he liked how both stars and the conversation between them was presented.

"So, if you're listening to that, you'd buy into it, because it looked like a real conversation, like they were actually talking, and you're sitting there. There is no bullsh** going on, nothing else, and you're concentrating on what he's saying, and when he leaves, that's what you're thinking about. I agree, very, very well done. So, I've got to hand it to them. Their shows have improved 200%," Dutch Mantell said.

Butch and Tyler Bate have been involved in each other's pro wrestling journey since their Indies days. The duo have both competed against and alongside each other on numerous occasions.
