Bo Dallas recently shared the story of how he found out about his involvement with Bray Wyatt upon his return to WWE. Dallas remembered it like it was yesterday when he and his real-life brother came up with the idea for Uncle Howdy.

The Wyatt Sicks continued the legacy of the late Bray Wyatt, with Dallas portraying Uncle Howdy. They have wreaked havoc on WWE RAW, first targeting Chad Gable and his new group, American Made. They are now feuding with The Miz and Karrion Kross' Final Testament.

In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, Bo Dallas was asked about how he found out that he was portraying Uncle Howdy and he'd be alongside his brother.

"I don't know the exact date. It gets a little sketchy because when me and my brother left, we both knew we were gonna come back to wrestling at some point. We just didn’t know when. (...) At the time, me and him filmed a little show hunting monsters and stuff. We started hanging around each other and that led to us talking about wrestling. That led us to talking about all these ideas, so we had books and books of different ideas going forward for months and we decided we wanted to come back and work together for the first time," Dallas said. It finally happened in December 2022 when Bray Wyatt started a program with Uncle Howdy for his feud against LA Knight and Bobby Lashley heading into WrestleMania 40. However, it was short-lived because Wyatt went on hiatus to recover from an illness before unexpectedly passing away in August 2023.

Bo Dallas on how he portrays Uncle Howdy on WWE TV

In the same interview with SHAK Wrestling, Bo Dallas opened up about his portrayal of Uncle Howdy on WWE RAW. Dallas was very emotional in discussing his thought process because The Wyatt Sicks was all about honoring the legacy of his late brother.

"I'm being very cathartic with this character. It's releasing a lot for me and I can almost not live without it anymore. So there's [sic] directions I know I wanted to go and that we all wanted to go and where it will, but like any other life or character in the real world or in a movie, it's going to take turns. Unexpecting, and because it's drawing off real emotions and things that happen, if something happens and that has a reaction that's more than I thought, that's where that character is going to go because that's what he feels," Dallas said. It will be interesting to see how Bo Dallas and his alter ego as well as The Wyatt Sicks handle The Final Testament following the official start of their feud last Monday on RAW.
