Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defended their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend of the Meta-Four, Damage CTRL's IYO SKY & Kairi Sane, and Chelsea Green & Piper Niven at Crown Jewel 2024. Belair and Cargill had captured the titles from the Unholy Union earlier this year at Bash in Berlin.
The EST connected with an impressive Blockbuster on Piper Niven during the match but turned around into a Pump Kick to the face from Lash Legend. Cargill and Legend then traded shots in the middle of the ring. Cargill dodged a Pump Kick and connected with one of her own. Niven then took out both stars with a Crossbody off of the top turnbuckle.
Kairi Sane then hit Green and Niven with an Insane Elbow Drop outside the ring, and IYO SKY followed it up with a Moonsault off the top rope. Jakara Jackson leaped off of Lash Legend's shoulders and onto everyone outside the ring as the crowd went wild. Back in the squared circle, Meta-Four set Kairi Sane up for a Powerbomb, but it was botched and the Damage CTRL member landed hard on the canvas. The referee checked on her following the rough-looking sequence, and she could have possibly picked up an injury.
Cargill lifted Niven onto her shoulders in the corner of the ring. Bianca Belair tagged in and the Women's Tag Team Champions connected with the Doomsday Device to retain the titles at WWE Crown Jewel.
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair have been the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions for 42 days so far. It will be interesting to see who challenges the popular duo next following their victory at Crown Jewel tonight.
