Rhea Ripley has a monumental task on WWE RAW when the red brand makes its Netflix debut. Meanwhile, the management announced a major change days ahead of her blockbuster match against Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship.
Last Woman Standing Matches are quite rare in the Stamford-based promotion, as only a handful have occurred across all three brands in the past few years. Last year, WWE announced that the upcoming title match between Ripley and Morgan would be a Last Woman Standing Match.
However, the management changed the stipulations days before their showdown. In a new article on the promotion's website, the upcoming Women's World Championship Match will now be a traditional one-on-one contest when RAW makes its Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.

Mami might be without backup, as the champion often has Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio by her side when it comes to title matches. It'll be interesting to see which star kicks off a new era as the Women's World Champion.
Rhea Ripley would be forced to leave WWE RAW if she loses, predicts veteran
Rhea Ripley has been an integral part of Monday Night RAW since 2021, when she got drafted to the brand during the annual WWE Draft. Mami got over under the new regime on the same brand until an injury derailed her momentum and kick-started her feud with Liv Morgan.
Speaking on Busted Open, Tommy Dreamer predicts Rhea Ripley's exit from the brand if she fails to defeat Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship. The veteran thinks the feud has gone on too long, and one of them will leave the brand if the other becomes the face of the division:
"I can see the match also happening or a version of it on Netflix. I think by that time, it has to be done. They've stretched this out a long, long time. But if Liv [Morgan] somehow continued to beat Rhea [Ripley], then it's time for Rhea to maybe move over to SmackDown. If Rhea wins on that first episode of RAW on Netflix, she's cementing herself and her face as the face of the women's division," Dreamer said.
