WWE Superstars The Rock and Roman Reigns appeared on RAW's Netflix premiere. Recently, wrestling journalist Chris Van Vliet suggested that a significant event on the flagship show could be a catalyst for a potential dream match between the two Anoa'i family members.
The Great One kicked off the first episode of RAW in 2025 by promoting Netflix and praising both Cody Rhodes and The OTC. Following Roman Reigns' victory over Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat Match, the former WWE Champion made his way to the ring. Dwayne Johnson presented Reigns with the Ula Fala and then locked hands with him, creating an intense moment of shared power and unspoken tension between the two.
On his AskCVV edition of INSIGHT, Chris Van Vliet suggested that the recent exchange between The Final Boss and The Head of The Table on January 6, 2025, could play a factor in setting the stage for this highly anticipated match between the two on the Road to WrestleMania 41:
"I still think that they [WWE] have even talking about and working towards a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns for a long time. It seems like that might be possible here. And that little exchange there, what we saw on Monday [Night RAW], that could end up playing a factor in a match between the two of them at some point," he said. [From 07:03 to 07:26]

Game-changing report on Roman Reigns vs. The Rock in WWE
A new report has shed light on whether a potential dream match between Roman Reigns and Dwayne Johnson is still on the cards. Many assumed that The Brahma Bull's recent babyface turn on Monday Night RAW might have derailed WWE's plans, but that's not the case.
In a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), Dave Meltzer reported that the idea of a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns is not dead and could still happen in the future.
It remains to be seen whether the two Samoan stars will lock horns at this year's Showcase of the Immortals in Las Vegas.
