Last week on NXT, Wes Lee cut an emotional promo after losing his North American Championship match against Oba Femi at Heatwave. He was upset because he wouldn't be able to challenge for the title as long as Femi was the champion. When he was contemplating quitting, TNA's Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel came out to greet him, thereby reuniting The Rascalz.
However, they got into a backstage confrontation with Gallus soon after, setting up a six-man tag team match for tonight. This contest kicked off tonight's episode of NXT. During the bout, TNA star Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance and joined the commentary team.

The match continued as normal as The Rascalz put on a great showing in their first match on NXT television. In the end, The Rascalz ended up picking up the win. This was Zachary Wentz's first WWE win in 836 days. His last victory was at NXT Stand & Deliver 2022, when MSK won the NXT Tag Team Championship.
It remains to be seen if this win means that The Rascalz can move on to bigger and better things on NXT.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
