WWE NXT The Great American Bash special is set to air in less than an hour. The two-night event will continue next Tuesday, from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. A potential major spoiler has just been revealed for the show.
José the Assistant is most known for his time in AEW, managing Andrade El Idolo and La Facción Ingobernable. The Inoki Dojo student made his WWE debut on Superstars back in August 2011, losing a squash match to Brodus Clay. He then returned in August 2012 for a squash loss to Ryback. The East Los Angeles native joined AEW in 2021, but was released on April 1 of this year.
Jose began teasing a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment earlier this week and expressed interest in managing newcomer Stephanie Vaquer. The 17-year industry veteran fueled the rumor mill this afternoon when he took to X/Twitter to comment on how the weather is in Orlando.
"The weather in Orlando, Florida is nice today. [fist emoji]," José the Assistant wrote.
Sources have not confirmed if Jose is headed to NXT or not, and it seems likely that he would not spoil his debut, but anything is possible in the world of wrestling. SK Wrestling will have live coverage of The Great American Bash as it happens tonight.
