An absent WWE Superstar potentially teased a return ahead of tonight's episode of RAW in Portland, Oregon. The star in question has not competed in a match in 135 days.
Asuka suffered a knee injury earlier this year and was pulled from the Queen of the Ring tournament as a result. She has not competed in a match since The Kabuki Warriors were dethroned as Women's Tag Team Champions by Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at Backlash 2024.
The Damage CTRL star took to Instagram ahead of this week's edition of the red brand to share a potential return tease. The Empress of Tomorrow shared The Kabuki Warriors' entrance from WWE 2K24, as seen in the video below.

Asuka has been sharing cryptic messages as she recovers from her injury. The veteran has also reportedly signed a new deal with WWE during her hiatus. Her Damage CTRL stablemate, Dakota Kai, recently suffered a torn meniscus and is also out of action due to injury.
Bill Apter comments on major star potentially returning to WWE
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently speculated on the possibility of Goldberg returning to WWE after the legend was referenced last week on RAW.
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther interrupted Bret Hart's special RAW appearance last week in Calgary. The Ring General claimed that Goldberg was his favorite wrestler, with The Hitman coming in at number two in his personal rankings. Bret Hart has made it known that he has not forgiven Goldberg for causing his concussion at WCW Starrcade 1999.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Bill Apter wondered if Goldberg could potentially return at Survivor Series in Vancouver later this year. He added that Goldberg could potentially confront Bret Hart at the Premium Live Event in November.
"The thing with Goldberg, wouldn't it be interesting if something we don't know about is going on behind the scenes where Goldberg will be upset at this thing? And maybe when they do in Vancouver, British Colombia, they do the Survivor Series, maybe they'll have Bret Hart as a guest again, and maybe Bill Goldberg will just come out, and they'll do a staredown?"
