An up-and-coming star will set his sights on living legends John Cena and Randy Orton once he gets called up to the main roster. Oba Femi wants to face Orton and Cena when he gets promoted to either RAW or SmackDown.
Cena announced his retirement at Money in the Bank a few months ago, with his farewell tour set to start in January 2025. He will have an entire year to say goodbye to his fans while also facing select WWE stars, including former rivals, friends, and upstarts.
Orton defeated Je'Von Evans on the latest episode of NXT on The CW. Evans impressed The Viper, who raised the 20-year-old star's hands after the match. On the Going Ringside podcast, Oba Femi was asked which superstar he would like to face once he gets called up to the main roster. He mentioned Cena and Orton, as well as a couple of international stars.
"Main roster, Randy, John Cena before he retires and leaves us alone. Gunther. Drew McIntyre," Oba Femi said. [H/T: Fightful]

Oba Femi recently made history by becoming the longest-reigning NXT North American Champion. However, he also suffered his first pinfall defeat and lost the title to Tony D'Angelo on the October 8 episode of NXT.
John Cena responds to The Rock's insults at WWE Bad Blood
The Rock returned to the WWE this past Saturday at Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia. He showed up at the end of the event, making a gesture to Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He also cut a promo backstage and uploaded it on his social media accounts.
The Final Boss saw John Cena's picture and insulted his former rival by telling him to go "eat some Fruity Pebbles." It was a reference to what Rocky called Cena during their feud between 2011 and 2013.
Cena seemingly responded to The Rock by uploading an image of Fruity Pebbles on his Instagram account.
With Cena retiring at the end of 2025, there's a chance for him and The Rock to complete their trilogy. They each have one win over the other and could finally settle the score if the stars align next year.
