WWE Superstars are gearing up for RAW's premiere on the Netflix streaming platform. Ahead of the show, Drew McIntyre, who has been defying repeated warnings from top officials, revealed three major reasons behind his willingness to face the consequences.
Ever since returning to WWE after the 2024 Bad Blood PLE, The Scottish Warrior has been targeting those who had reunited with Roman Reigns. So far, McIntyre has taken out Sami Zayn, and Jimmy Uso, and now he will face Jey Uso on the red brand's Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.
Throughout this series of events, both RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis have warned the former WWE Champion to adhere to the rules and maintain a professional record.
During a recent appearance on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Drew McIntyre stated that at one point he felt he was excessively restraining himself, fearing potential fines or termination by WWE management.

However, the 39-year-old star acknowledged that moving forward he is willing to go to any lengths, even if it means facing repercussions, to achieve the best possible results for himself, the fans, and ultimately, the company.
"I think I'm at that place where I'm like, 'S*rew it. I'm going to go all the way, and I'm willing to deal with the repercussions,' just to get the best possible result for myself, for the fans, and in the end, for the company. And if I get smacked a few times along the way, that's sometimes what it takes to set the standard," McIntyre said. [H/T: The Ringer]
Drew McIntyre reveals why he no longer cares about WWE World Championship
At last year's WrestleMania in Philadelphia, Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title. However, his reign was cut short when CM Punk attacked him, allowing Damian Priest to capitalize by cashing in the Money in the Bank contract and becoming the new champion.
During the same interaction on The Ringer Wrestling Show, The Scottish Psychopath confessed that his current mindset does not prioritize the pursuit of the world title or preserving his legacy. McIntyre has come to accept that his achievements may eventually be forgotten.
"I never thought it'd be a point in my career where I said, 'Currently, I don't care about the world title. I don't care about my legacy like I used to, because inevitably, people are just going to forget," he said.
It remains to be seen whether the former World Heavyweight Champion will secure a win against Main Event Jey on the upcoming episode of RAW.
