Money in the Bank is WWE's annual premium live event which always plays a major part in the storylines for the summer. In some cases, it even acts as a precursor for major angles that culminate at WrestleMania the following year.
So naturally, there is a lot of hype already. The 2024 edition will feature the in-ring return of former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins after a two-month hiatus. He will challenge for Damian Priest's World Heavyweight Championship.
As per PWInsider, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will also be present at the event. The former Women's Champion was drafted to Monday Night RAW as part of the 2023 Draft. She last wrestled Becky Lynch at the Payback event in September 2023 inside a Steel Cage. Post-match, her protégé Zoey Stark hit her with the latter's finisher, the Z-360, signaling the end of their partnership.

Stratus will be part of the "In-Venue Pre-Show Hospitality" with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, among other WWE Superstars.
She is not expected to wrestle prior to the event, but her next appearance could indicate a sign of things to come. It would have crossed 300 days since her last WWE match by the time Money in the Bank rolls around.
Trish Stratus could see herself becoming an eight-time WWE Women's Champion
During The Iron Claw feature's premiere late last year, Chris Van Vliet caught up with Trish Stratus. In their conversation, Stratus informed the former what it would take for another run with the Stamford-based promotion.
Trish admitted that her last run with the company allowed her to experience new things that she did not get the opportunity to do in her prime. Her heel turn and the Steel Cage match with Becky Lynch, surprised on-lookers and over-achieved. She concluded by adding that winning another world title intrigues her.
"When I embarked on the journey, I came back for WrestleMania, 'Let's do this little program.' Suddenly, heel Trish had to come alive. Then, it just kept going and going. I got to do things I didn't get to do, right? Ladder Match, Saudi Arabia, Cage Match. To be able to dip my toes into the current landscape and check boxes that I wasn't able to check back in the day was pretty amazing. Yeah, I mean, I could become an eight-time champ. That sounds good to me. Why not?"
The Hall of Famer also expressed an interest in contending for the Women's Tag Team Championship alongside fellow lady Superstar Lita.
As for how things ended in her last run, it is not out of the realm of possibility that Trish Stratus goes after Zoey Stark, who appears to be calling her out repeatedly.
