Roman Reigns dominated WWE for four years before Cody Rhodes dethroned him at WrestleMania XL. Along the way, the Original Tribal Chief's constant opponent was Kevin Owens. Today, The Prizefighter broke character and praised the star.

Earlier this year, Roman Reigns returned to the Stamford-based promotion and feuded with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. During his feud, Cody Rhodes agreed to help him, which eventually became the reason behind Kevin Owens' heel turn at Bad Blood in Atlanta.

In a video titled WWE Retrospective, The Prizefighter reflected on the Fatal-Four-Way match where he won the Universal Championship. During this, Owens broke character and praised Roman Reigns by stating he wasn't close with the star before but respected him a lot.

"The thing about this is I got to be in the ring with two guys I was very close with, Big Cass and Seth [Rollins], and Roman [Reigns], who I wasn't so close with, but I really respected him a lot. When you're in the ring with people that you respect, you get to share these really cool moments; it always adds another level to enjoying these things as much as I have over my career." Owens said. Will Kevin Owens feud with Sami Zayn for teaming up with Roman Reigns at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames?

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have known each other for over two decades. However, Zayn chose a different path on WWE SmackDown when he acknowledged Roman Reigns and joined The Bloodline as the Honorary Uce.

Later, The Prizefighter got Sami Zayn away from the faction, but the Honorary Uce returned when the OG Bloodline needed help against Solo Sikoa's faction on the blue brand.

In the same interview, the former Universal Champion spoke highly of Sami Zayn regardless of his recent association with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.

"Well, me and Sami [Zayn] have known each other since 2002. And, I really say this all the time: he's really more like a brother than a friend (...) He really is like a brother," Owens said.

However, The Prizefighter stated he hadn't forgotten about his brother and would get to it when he needed to.
