Major WWE star continues to tease RAW return

A popular WWE Superstar recently shared a social media update to continue teasing his return following the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. The name in question, Ivar, has been absent from television for over five months.

The 40-year-old's last in-ring appearance was on the April 30 edition of NXT, when he challenged Oba Femi for the North American Championship. Unfortunately, not only did The Viking Raider lose the contest, but he also sustained a devastating injury during the match. His tag team partner, Erik, has also been out of action for over a year with a neck injury.

WWE has aired mysterious vignettes on the last two editions of Monday Night RAW, seemingly teasing The Viking Raiders' return from injury. Earlier today, Ivar took to Instagram Stories to share a picture of himself and tag team partner, Erik, standing inside the squared circle.

WWE analyst deciphers mysterious vignettes aired on RAW

WWE analyst Sam Roberts believes that the mysterious vignette aired during the latest edition of Mondy Night RAW teased The Viking Raiders' return.

On a recent episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts predicted that The Viking Raiders will return to Monday Night RAW. He stated that the vignette featured what seemed to be a Viking shield with Nordic letters written on it. Sam Roberts also pointed out that the duo is still signed to the wrestling promotion:

"It makes perfect sense that that's the return of The Viking Raiders. They've been on the shelf. They're still signed to WWE. The thing looked like a Viking shield. The letters are Nordic or whatever it's called. It's Viking letters. It's The Viking Raiders," said Sam Roberts. [1:03:24 - 1:03:41]
