Major WWE star, fans believe, is Jade Cargill's mystery attacker from Friday Night SmackDown

Jade Cargill has been out of action in WWE since the November 22, 2024, episode of SmackDown, when a mysterious star attacked her backstage. In the last few weeks, the company has teased multiple names as the attacker, including Naomi. However, fans now speculate that Charlotte Flair could be the mastermind who attacked The Storm, and it is part of long-term storytelling.

Last year, Jade Cargill signed with the Stamford-based promotion and interacted with several notable names in the company, including Charlotte Flair. Unfortunately, the two stars didn't collide inside the ring as The Queen got injured in December 2023 and went on a hiatus that has crossed over a year.

Recently, fans on X/Twitter started speculating which star could've attacked Jade Cargill. A majority of the audience reacted to a clip from last year where Cargill interacted with Charlotte Flair and believed this was part of a long-term booking and The Queen was the attacker. In The Queen's absence from WWE, Jade Cargill cemented herself as a top name in the industry, where she teamed up with Bianca Belair and captured the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship twice. However, a mysterious attacker took out The Storm, and everyone's wondering who could be the culprit.

Speaking on K100 with Konnan and Disco Inferno, the veteran predicted Charlotte Flair as the mystery attacker, as The Queen is on the cusp of a return to the Stamford-based promotion, and this could lead to a bigger feud heading into WrestleMania 41.

"I don't know. Charlotte's ready to come back. So, I think the mystery is going to lead to Charlotte [Flair]," Inferno said. [From 1:42:20 to 1:42:30]
